IPH presents The Blood Pressure Project – Class is full. Registration is closed.

The Institute for Population Health presents the Blood Pressure Project. Come receive a free blood pressure monitoring cuff device, health education, and telehealth follow-up from a Certified Nurse Midwife or Certified Nurse Practitioner.  Prenatal and postnatal women will learn how to measure their own blood pressure. Participants will be served lunch and will receive a $25 gift card.

Mom’s Café is a relaxed, inviting space to discuss God’s plan for parenting, self-care, and mental health. This is a support group for all moms. Join us during pregnancy and beyond.

Nervous about giving birth? Have questions about what exactly will happen at your baby’s birth? Join childbirth educator Elizabeth Ireland for this session where you’ll learn:
  • What to expect from different delivery options (c-section, induction, etc.)
  • Relaxation tools to help ANY type of birth go more smoothly
  • Affirmations for a positive mindset about birth
  • Benefits of skin-to-skin with baby after birth

Elizabeth Ireland is a mom to three amazing children and Certified Childbirth Educator. She has been teaching childbirth education for four years. Prior to that she worked in development at local Metro-Detroit nonprofits. Elizabeth is passionate about the wisdom of our bodies and about guiding expectant mothers along their journey as they prepare to meet their babies.
